EGT has had a pretty successful year in the Peruvian market reaching results that no one expected. As a result, the company announced it will pursue at least 5% market share in 2019.
EGT has continued to grow its presence in the country’s gaming halls and casinos throughout 2018 and has received immensely positive feedback from its clients.
“In only 2 years we managed to become recognizable in Peru reaching results that no one expected,” commented Mario Trayanski, director of EGT Peru.
EGT Peru reached a milestone in 2018 with 1,500 installed machines in 300 out of 800 gaming establishments across the country. In the first semester, they installed over 300 machines at both large and small-scale operators so the total number of EGT cabinets is now over 800. The best-selling models were P-24/24 Up, P-27/27 St, P-27/32H St and P-27/42V St models.
EGT stated: “Their attractive and at the same time ergonomic design, paired with the diverse and absorbing multi-games of Collection series, guarantee that they are a perfect fit to most operators’ requirements and to any gaming floor.”
In the second half of the year, they were focused on Premier Curved slot cabinets and the collection series multi-games of which 600 were installed. The feedback about the installed machines was quite positive and achieving, surpassing the expected results for the period.
The industry taxation announced for 2019 will affect the smaller casino operators, holding nearly 25% of the market, but Mario Trayanski remains optimistic about EGT’s performance for 2019.
“I have every reason to believe that the months ahead will be challenging, busy, but at the end even more successful for EGT Peru, as our main asset is a team of dedicated professionals and a portfolio that would never mislead our customers. Therefore we will go after a market share of at least 5%,” he concluded.
