Leading iGaming specialist Merkur Gaming is currently celebrating immense success it had during Peru Gaming Show (PGS) 2018. The online software developer enjoyed a particularly fruitful week at the event, where everything was about the World Cup 2018 Russia.
The 16th edition of the event was held in the Peruvian capital of Lima and it coincided with Peru’s first involvement in a FIFA World Cup since the year of 1982, so obviously the whole city went wild for the championship. Merkur Gaming’s role was to host a football-themed booth and display its top selling ‘made in Germany’ machines featuring over 100 individual games.
Proving yet again its great strategy, Merkur Gaming brought forward the football theme just in time, making its clients happy and hyping up the spirit of sport. The international members of the Merkur Gaming team were even wearing the official shirts of their national team, to pay respect to their squad.
Besides Merkur Gaming, there were many reputable names of the industry, including the Gauselmann Group’s GeWeTe, cash-handling experts, as well as edict and Cashpoint, iGaming specialist. Many a supplier found a place for itself at this magnificent event for the first time, including Novomatic.
Tomas Mieles, LatAm Sales Director for Merkur Gaming, was completely overjoyed throughout the event, saying that this edition of PGS was probably the best one yet. Mieles highlighted that this had been an incredible year for Merkur Gaming and that they had more visitors than ever before.
Mr. Mieles also said that the clients’ reaction to Merkur’s products and games had been fantastic, and that the football theme was exactly on point.
Merkur Gaming spokesperson congratulated the show organisers on the incredibly done job and said it was an honour to participate in the event. He thanked them for the “dedication they showed in demonstrating Merkur Gaming to be one of the top tier one companies currently working in the vibrant market that is gaming in Peru.”
