Premium slots and table games provider Habanero has announced the appointment of former NetEnt Product Manager Carlos Carvajal as the new Service and Operations Manager.

Who is Carlos Carvajal?

Carlos Carvajal has a vast industry experience of over a decade and has previously worked for William Hill and Betfair.

For the last four years, he has worked at NetEnt as a Product Manager. With his huge experience, he will bring considerable knowledge and complete understanding of how the industry works to the company as Habenero continues to expand its operations in Europe.

Arcangelo Lonoce, European Head of Business Development at Habanero, said: “We are delighted to welcome Carlos to the Habanero team and know he will quickly become a major asset. This is another appointment which demonstrates our drive to recruit the best possible talent out there as we continue to grow Habanero as a brand.”

Duties and Responsibilities

Carvajal’s main task will be to liaise with existing and prospective clients on the product side of the business while further responsibilities will include helping the company grow within Europe.

Carlos Carvajal, Service and Operations Manager at Habanero, added: “I’m really happy to be joining Habanero. It’s a very exciting career move for me and I can’t wait to get started. Habanero have established themselves as one of the leading slots and tables games providers, and I’m looking forward to being involved with them at such an exciting time.”

Habanero Continues Expansion

Back in December, Habanero scooped a deal with the UK platform provider Nektan for its full portfolio of casino games.

Nektan’s white label platform Evolve will offer more than 150 Habanero titles to its customers and the titles include established Habanero games such as Pumpkin Patch, Ways of Fortune, Knockout Football, London Hunter and Fortune Dogs, and recent release Jump!.

This deal marked Habanero’s entry into the UK market and enabled Habanero content to reach Nektan partners via its content platform E-Lite, which boasts a further 145 global casino brands.

Arcangelo Lonoce, European head of business development at Habanero, saw this partnership deal as an early example of how the expansion within the European market will unravel.
