Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has been granted approval to start supplying games to B2C operators in the United Kingdom.

GiG has been granted approval from the UK Gambling Commission to offer its sports betting services in the market.

The B2B license complements GiG’s existing software and B2C license in the UK and will allow GiG to offer its services to both its existing white label customers and external brands operating in the UK.

Three Modules of Operation

Oslo-listed operator and B2B provider’s sports betting portfolio consists of three modules which can work together with its GiG Core platform for a complete solution or can be integrated as a standalone products.

The modules feature GiG Sports Connect proprietary odds, aggregated odds and data service, GiG Trader trading tools and risk management platform as well as mobile-first front end and middleware solution GiG Goal.

“We are thrilled to announce this news so early in our journey with GiG Games. Normally, a game provider enters one market at a time, however, with our strength from being a division within GiG’s ecosystem, we are able to enter multiple regulated markets at the same time. Regulated markets are the future of our industry and it is part of our core strategy to be present in every regulated market.” MD at GiG Games, Mathias Larsson explained.

“The UK market is one of the most competitive in Europe. With our partnership with Jade Rabbit, we have the expertise to build games that will be built primarily for the UK market, we are confident our games will be successful. We have seen the market welcome our first game in a positive way.”

Jade Rabbit Lead Way

The company announced their first contract with a games studio, Jade Rabbit, last month and a number of games will be directly built onto GiG Games platform.

This six-game agreement is a testament to Jade Rabbit capabilities and potential. The partnership will see the first game launch in the first half of 2019. Four games in total are scheduled for release next year and the remaining two in 2020.

GiG’s strategy is to release more games on an annual basis and to land more deals with premium studios across the world in order to diversify its offering with local games for local markets.

GiG is currently in the certification process for their games in Colombia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Sweden, and the USA.
