IGT Signs 5-Year Central Lottery System Deal with Oregon Lottery
International Game Technology (IGT) has announced a new deal with the Oregon Lottery. According to the deal, the esteemed company will provide cutting-edge technology, retail products, and a brand-new central lottery system.
Boosting Oregon
After a lucrative deal with Mississippi Lottery Corporation in September, IGT has announced a new deal with the famous Oregon Lottery. The two parties signed another contract back in August when IGT agreed to supply its leading technology to Oregon Lottery. However, news arrived stating that that deal would enhance even further. The new contract entails delivery of top-quality software and technology, as well as an update of the central lottery system. That means that IGT will transform the current operating system into Aurora™, its leading-edge platform.
Thanks to Aurora, Oregon will have better system reliability, integrity, performance, and security. The user-friendly design allows for more productivity. Order Wizard and Performance Wizard are also included in the mix. IGT will also implement its Instants Processing System which is there to boost the instant ticket program. That means validation, distribution, and inventory of the games will be enhanced. Oregon will buy retailer equipment, including IGT’s latest self-service GameTouch™ 20.

As Oregon Lottery Director Barry Pack explained, the two companies have been partners for a long time. IGT’s latest technology will modernize the central system which will help to attract new players. Oregon Lottery hopes that they will be able to incorporate new strategies for revenue growth as well. Oregon Lottery has been a client of IGT ever since the company launched Lottery in 1985. Right now, IGT provides instant ticket games and services, video lottery terminals, and its video gaming system to Oregon.
