Being a well-known advocate of fair gaming as a co-founder of eCOGRA, Microgaming has now embarked on another mission to support the vision of making iGaming sector safer for everyone and joined the All-in Diversity Project.

London-based, internationally approved testing agency, eCOGRA (eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance) is the accredited certification body and player protection and standards organization.

The organization quickly turned into one of the most reputable independent gaming authorities.

Microgaming has now joined All-in Diversity Project as a founding member alongside the leading names in the industry including IGT, GiG, and Kindred, Unibet’s parent company. All-in Diversity project was founded in 2017 and immediately attracted multiple companies and their support including PaddyPower, Caesars Entertainment and powerful companies that are interested in discussing diversity in the casino industry. Microgaming and three other mentioned companies above are just the latest project backers.

All-In Diversity Programme

Formed by gambling executives, Kelly Kehn and Christina Thakor-Rankin, the Project is an industry-driven initiative that aims to measure and facilitate open discussions in the key strategic areas of diversity, equality and inclusion across the global betting and gaming sector.

The Programme’s primary goal is to “establish a global industry standard index designed to be the definitive benchmarking tool for measuring diversity and inclusion in the sector”.

When the tools for measuring diversity and inclusion have been designed, they will be used to see if there are any improvements during this year. The reports will be provided annually, together with the recommendations for further development in areas such as corporate governance, recruitment, and equal pay.

All-in Diversity Project was proud to welcome Microgaming to the family because they bring the breadth of industry knowledge and expertise to the table with their products and policies. They are both driven by the real passion which reflects the diversity of their teams worldwide.

Announcing the partnership, Microgaming chief financial officer John Coleman said: “Our diverse workforce helps keep us strong, dynamic and moving forward. It is important that we identify industry-specific barriers to inclusion and diversity so we can continue to work on areas where we can help diversity thrive.”

Equal pay and diversity are the hot topics recently, and there should be more famous backers joining the project in the future. Powerful companies coming together and joining All-in Diversity Project can make significant changes.
