One of the biggest gaming brands in Europe, Interwetten, has signed a deal with MuchBetter, a renowned payment processor. MuchBetter will be included on their list of available payment methods.
Following the deal, MuchBetter will launch its instant ‘real-time’ payment services across Interwetten’s channels in the coming weeks.
Moreover, MuchBetter will apply its business model, according to which operators only pay transaction fees based on player’s net balance over a month and not every transaction that a customer makes.
Dr Birgit Bosch, COO of Interwetten, said they liked the MuchBetter approach and their commitment to payments innovation.
Bosch said:
“After years of growth, mobile gaming remains a huge market opportunity and the MuchBetter app was built with these customers in mind from day one, not retrofitted to suit.
“They know these players and what they want from a payment app, as well understanding as the German speaking market, its opportunities and its many challenges.”
Jens Bader, co-founder of MuchBetter that while they’ve always had unique approach to payments, they also like to “create an integrated relationship” with their operators.
“For Interwetten, it’s not the case that they turn on the MuchBetter functionality and we just leave them to it.
We are committed to building a solution that works for them and meets their specific needs, while serving their players with the smoothest user experience on the market. I believe we’re trusted by all our operators to deliver on that front.”
MuchBetter was launched in 2017 and it quickly became one of the most popular app-based payment services around. There’s no doubt to why it achieved great success in short time, as its users can create accounts within seconds and make payments with just their fingerprint.
Earlier this week, MuchBetter launched its “CashDuster” engagement tool, becoming the first e-wallet to offer operators a way to market campaigns and promotions.
