Anna Romboli, who currently works as the chief communications officer at the leading online casino behemoth NetEnt, has announced that she will be switching positions and moving to the Swedish company Svenska Spel.
She will be serving as the business area manager for the Tur division.
She will be commencing with her new role on the 12th of August this year. She will report directly to the firm’s CEO. After more than 5 years of leading NetEnt’s global communications team, Rombola is changing her course.
Patrik Hofbauer, president and CEO at Svenska Spel, stated that he was very pleased to greet Romboli into the quarters of his company. “Her solid expertise in branding issues will be valuable for managing and developing our popular brand names within number games and lotteries,” he commented.
Hofbauer also praised Romboli’s experience of driving innovation and building digital business in the gaming industry. “The fact that she also comes from the industry and has insight into the new re-regulated market is a great advantage for driving and developing the business.”
NetEnt inked a deal with Svenska Spel in October 2018 to enter the newly regulated Swedish market. Romboli’s new position will demand that she should be responsible for the firm’s Tur business area, which encompasses some of Sweden’s most popular gaming brands such as Lotto, Keno and Triss.
Anna Romboli declared that she was looking forward to “being part of developing some of Sweden’s most famous brands” after succeeding Kristina Askstedt, who will be leaving the company to assume a new role outside Svenska Spel.
NetEnt CCO hopes to contribute to “building products and services with the customer in focus, and that are attractive and competitive in the new regulated market”.
