Whenever a game supplier receives almost half nominations out of a total number of categories on a gaming awards event, that company deserves our respect and admiration.

Play’n GO, omnichannel slot specialist has been recognized for its hard work and commitment to diversity and championing its female staff with seven nominations at the Women in Gaming Awards 2018.

Play’n GO Dominating WGA

WGA is a manifestation that addresses one part of gambling workforce and gives employers a chance to recognize female team leaders in their companies, back them up and acknowledge their contribution.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on 11 May, at the luxurious Savoy Hotel. Play’n Go has been nominated in categories the Best Company of the Year and the Best Place to Work thanks to recently moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art office in Malta while five females have been nominated in individual categories. Liana Mifsud is nominated in the Employee of the Year category while Irina Tyberg has been nominated for Hidden Talent of the Year. Maria Nilsson is in the running for Industry Achiever while two Play’n GO employees Ebba Arnred and Lena Yasir are competing against each other in Leader of the Year category.

CEO at Play’n GO, Johan Tornvist, explained that the company tries to build a culture comfortable to both men and women in the company and ensure diversity and inclusivity is included in every level of the hierarchy.

“I’d like to congratulate not just the many individuals who’ve been nominated for a 2018 Women in Gaming award, but also all of those within our organization who continue to shape our culture for the better and go above and beyond.”

Play’n GO has won the Diversity Award last year and hopes to add more awards to its collection this year and strengthen their position as one of the most forward-thinking and enjoyable companies in the industry. They will continue to shape their working culture for better and “go above and beyond”.

WGA is a perfect chance to recognize diversity within the industry and aims to create a positive gaming area and diminish the gap between genders. This year’s WGA is expected to be a huge hit and inspire others to do the same concerning diversity at workplace.
