Playtech has announced that the BGT Sports’ Bet Tracker is now available, for the first time, to iPhone and Android users on the Google Play store.
Playtech’s subsidiary, BGT Sports announced that they started developing the new Bet Tracker product a year ago. The gaming software supplier’s sports division wanted to release this innovative mobile application in order to provide customers with a chance to place their sports bets in the betting outlets and then transfer them directly to their mobile phones.
Customers are able to check the progress of the bets using the app.
The same platform as the one on BGT terminals available in the bookmaker’s betting outlets in UK and Ireland enables the customers to cash their bets out on the system. Bet Tracker makes the sports betting easier and even players without an online account can scan a ticket to the Bet Tracker application and then monitor the progress of their bet, no matter of their location.
The app was released few months ago and instantly became popular but the expansion of Bet Tracker onto iPhone and Android is expected to bring a further uptake in bet transfers and the growth of mobile betting.
The first branded version off the app to go live was with Betfred. Bespoke versions are to come soon for other operators including Sean Graham, Joe Jennings, Jenningsbet and Boylesports. Since Google has enormous proportion of mobile users, BET Tracker will now be more accessible to shop customers and improve their on-the-go experience. Players will be able to download the app on any mobile device and in any location.
Since the Playtech BGT Sports launched the app on Google Play in time for the World Cup, 2018 will be definitely be a good year for securing Bet Tracker’s position in the retail betting.
This revolutionary product will provide a growth in a retail sector and is hoped to boost operator revenues and make the customers’ experience better.
