Playtech Selects Coolr as Its First Social Agency of Record

London Stock Exchange listed, globally praised and awarded online gaming manufacturer Playtech has some great new to share.

As of March 2019, the developer can proudly say that it has appointed Coolr as its very first agency of record. The digital agency is going to back up Playtech across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

The world’s largest gaming and sports betting supplier announced revenue of €1.24 billion in 2018. The iGaming giant reported quite an eventful year last year, referring to the Snaitech acquisition and reaching its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) goals.

The firm’s announcement on the new agreement covers strategy and implementation. Primarily, B2B audiences will be targeted by Coolr. This means online casinos across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. The London-based agency will not be working alone; Playtech’s PR agency will be at disposal at all times as well.

James Newman, Playtech’s director of corporate affairs, declared, “We wanted to work with an agency that brings a genuine understanding of how social can be used to deliver impact. We believe we found that with Coolr.”

Newman highlighted that Playtech, being a global and highly influential iGaming company, needs to keep an open mind when it comes to its integrated communications approach.
