One of the world’s most distinguished iGaming providers – Playtech – has secured an important deal with Sociedade de Apostas Sociais (SAS) which opened doors to the lucrative Portuguese market.

Portugal’s leading online operator SAS signed an agreement with Playtech which will have its IMS player management platform supplied by the top-notch Playtech products together with a new sportsbook offering to this operator.
Playtech BGT Sports (PBS)-powered new SAS sportsbook should hit the market shortly much to a delight of the company which could not hide its satisfaction over a secured Portuguese deal. New and emerging regulated markets remain one of the main segments of Playtech’s growth strategy, according to company’s chief operating officer Shimon Akad.

The two companies have penned a multi-year deal which will allow Playtech to deploy its brand-new sport betting platform which is supported by data feeds, risk management services and operational tools aimed to improve player retention.
