William Hill Partners with Eldorado Resorts on a Sports Books Deal
Distinguished online casino and sportsbook operator William Hill has announced teaming up with Eldorado Resorts in order to roll out its complete sports betting offering, for both digital and land-based betting, within the United States of America.
Five American Casinos, for Starters
Five properties across three states will host William Hill sportsbooks in less than a week from now.
The venues include New Jersey’s The Tropicana Atlantic City, West Virginia’s The Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort, as well as three brick and mortar casinos based in Mississippi – Isle of Capri in Lula, The Lady Luck Casino in Vicksburg and Tropicana Casino in Greenville.
After new legislation has been regulated in the following months, more casinos in more states are set to be granted William Hill’s services.
Two Entertainment Giants
Eldorado Resorts Group owns 21 properties across 11 states and boasts a client base of over 23 million people.
The major casino group and the premium sports betting firm that is William Hill are shaking hands to exchange digital and land-based sports betting services across the US market, where Eldorado has already begun the legal process to acquire Tropicana Entertainment.
The acquisition of the group will extend Eldorado’s reach over 26 new properties in 13 states, and the deal is planned to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2018.
William Hill, on the other hand, has been providing services in 13 states where sports betting is legal or where sports betting bills are tabled.
Philip Bowcock, William Hill CEO, has commented on the deal with the exclusive partner with which the successful sports betting provider has been working since 2012.
“Together we are positioned to capture the evolving US opportunity – starting with land-based sports betting, and extending to digital sports betting and, in some states, online gaming.”
Gary Carano, Eldorado CEO and Chairman, has added that the continuation of the collaboration will bring “the excitement of sports betting to customers across our growing platform of leading casino resorts, creating value for all shareholders.”
