Adventures Beyond Wonderland

Adventures Beyond Wonderland is a live casino game show by Playtech released in 2020. It takes inspiration from a popular slot with the same title, except the main element in this release is a modified live Spin a Win wheel. Players bet on the segments of the wheel, and if the wheel stops on the selected segment, they win a cash prize or an entry into one of the four bonus rounds.

The game comes with multiple special features, with a single round capable of cashing out up to €500,000! There are different RTPs for different bets, with the highest possible being 96.82%. Side bets in the Adventures Beyond Wonderland live include Wonderspins and the Magic Dice mini game.

HOW TO PLAY Adventures Beyond Wonderland?

The rules of the game are easy and straightforward. However, if you wish to know more about these types of games, definitely take a look at our simple live games show guide. The round starts with players placing a bet or bets on the betting grid. You can bet on four numbers: One, Two, Five, and Ten. In addition, you will find 3 Bonus Segments, Magic Dice, 2 Wonderspins, and 5 Wonderspins.

There are also two Mystery Segments on the wheel, on which you can’t bet. If the wheel lands on one of these, either a multiplier gets added to each number and a respin occurs, or a multiplier gets applied to your current bet. Once the betting has closed, the host will spin the wheel. Depending on where the wheel stops, the game round ends or a bonus round is triggered.

The numbers are definitely the simplest bet you can make. Simply pick a number for your bet, and if the wheel lands on it, your stake is multiplied by the same number. Naturally, you will find that the bigger numbers will appear on fewer segments than the ones with lower payouts. The special bets can bring massive rewards, but you will also find them rarely on the table.

Now, before we get into the bonus rounds, let’s break down the wheel segments first. The wheel contains 54 segments, with the bonus segments occupying eight of them. You will see:

  • 22 number one segments
  • 15 number two segments
  • 5 number five segments
  • 4 number 10 segments

As we have mentioned before the game comes with a maximum RTP of 96.82% with bet options ranging from €0.10 to €500 per round. The max payout you can win while you play Adventures Beyond Wonderland is capped at €500,000.

GAME FEATURES

The first bonus appears randomly. Before the wheel stops spinning, the Boost special feature can activate which increases the payout of one number bet position. These are the multiplier values:

  • Number one can be increased by 2x, 4x, and 5x.
  • Number two and ten can be increased by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 8x.
  • Number five can be increased by 5x, 6x, 8x, and 10x.

If the wheel lands on the two mystery segments, you can win one of two prizes:

  • Card Soldiers’ Mystery Multiplier – four cards march onto the screen, each depicting a card suit. Select one of the card suits to reveal your prize. The multiplier gets picked from one of the batches. First batch contains 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x. The second comes with 2x, 4x, 5x, and 8x. And, batch three contains 2x, 5x, 7x, and 10x.
  • Caterpillar’s Mystery Free Spin Multiplier – grants a free spin to the bonus round. This character grants a win multiplier for all betting positions. A free spin occurs, and you receive the payout for the number you have bet on if the wheel stops on that number.

When the wheel stops on 2 or 5 Wonder spins the bonus round is triggered, which uses two new wheels. The inner wheel grants a multiplier ranging from 2x to 10x or additional Wonderspins. Outer wheel grants cash prizes. Players can also draw Drink Me and Eat Me segments, which decrease and increase the payouts.

The Magic Dice mini game is played using one red and one white dice. You need to pick one. Next, players are taken to a mini game grid. Your goal is to get quickly to the top, which depends on the dice. You can also land on tiles with multipliers, move up symbols, or both.
