Cash Truck 2 is a sequel to the popular Cash Truck online slot that came out just last year. While we typically wait years for sequels, it seems Quickspin was eager to return to the scene of the crime and meet up with the infamous Cash Truck heist crew.

As you know, Cash Truck slot revolved around a team of four thieves who steal cash trucks in a post-apocalyptic world. What this new slot sequel brings is a fresh perspective on the dusty wasteland after a grave apocalyptic tragedy. The goal is the same – you are trying to steal from the truck in front of you hoping it would drop some big wins, and that’s it. In the sequel, the point is the same, except now you start with a slightly bigger game grid. The layout consists of 6 reels and up to 7 positions, but the upper part is locked away. With Tumbling Reels, which trigger cascades with every winning combo, a section of the locked grid busts open and activates random icons to participate in the spins.

Wins trigger whenever you have matching icons landing on adjacent reels, meaning that no matter where they are, the only thing that matters is that they are on adjacent reels. Considering the grid is 6×7 and you need 3 matching icons for a win, the total number of winning ways goes from 4096 to 117649.

Icons participating in the game include low-value card suits paying from 0.10x to 0.40x. medium icons including two guns and a health unit, as well as three team members pay between 0.20x and 1.5x.  The main icon in the game is the Vex character paying up to 3x for a sequence of 6 identical tiles. The game’s max win is capped at 35,000x the stake, so that is the ultimate payout you can get by playing Cash Truck 2 slot for real money.

The main game features in Cash Truck 2 include Tumbling Reels, The Truck Raider Bonus Game with 8 modifiers, and the Buy Bonus option.

The Tumbling Reels are self-explanatory. Every win on the grid launches a Tumble as winning icons are removed from the grid. This also unlocks a section on the grid, so you have more winning chances.

However, the game focus is firmly on the Truck Raider Bonus game.

The Truck Raider unlocks with 3 Bonus Scatters which grant you 3 Lives and a chance to collect Multipliers. On each spin, you need to land at least 1 Multiplier (which resets the counter to 3) or a random modifier to advance. If you reach the end of the counter, the round ends.

During the round, all random Multipliers ranging from 1x to 10x are added together so the final prize you get is the combination of all Multipliers that landed on the grid. However, you’ll also see eight Modifiers which affect the gameplay:

  • Expander – unlocks 3 random tiles on the grid
  • Booster – adds its own value to all other icons on the grid on 1 spin
  • Super Booster – the same, but also on all upcoming icons until the end of the round
  • Grabber – copies the values of all multipliers on the screen and adds it to its own on 1 spin
  • Super Grabber – the same, but it does that until the end of the round
  • Doubler – doubles the values whenever the counter resets
  • Cloner – clones the highest amount on the grid to empty spots
  • Compressor – absorbs all values from the screen to make room for more icons and potentially bigger wins

During Free Spins, you get regular modifiers, but if you unlock the feature using Super Scatters, you get the upgraded versions – Super Booster and Super Grabber.
