First Lady of Fortune Remastered, then Baron Lord of Saturday: Play’n GO is really playin’ into the occult this Halloween. Lady of Fortune is not a new game though. ‘Tis simply a remaster of the 2014 debut release, meaning most of the features have been simply copy-pasted in here. There are two notable changes with the new game: the graphics are better (which was expected), and the payout for the Pick a Prize bonus is higher. Other than that, we have two identical games, the second intended as a polished version of the popular Play’n GO slot.

Inside the game, you will get Wilds that might come with Multipliers, Pick a Prize game round, and the Gamble round. Both Wilds and Multipliers are pretty much classic, so there’s no point in going into details. You will probably enjoy the Pick a Prize bonus round, as it gives you a chance to pick between three tarot card options to reveal a cash prize. In the new game, you can win up to 1,500x in said prizes. Ultimately, it all boils down to the Gamble round. HOW TO PLAY Lady of Fortune Remastered?

Besides Lady of Fortune Remastered, Play’n GO has decided to make your life easier by introducing another Halloween slot by the name Baron: Lord of Saturday. It’s also a spooky game perfect for the Halloween season, but Lady of Fortune deals in witchcraft and tarot, while Baron Samedi is all about the occult and talking with the dead.

Now, this is a remaster, which means it’s merely an updated version of a game that you know and love. Lady of Fortune – the original – came out in 2014. A decade later, Play’n GO decided to release an update for the game which features better graphics, and a few touch-ups regarding payouts.

Other than that, it’s the same thing as the OG slot.

You play with 5 reels and 3 rows, as well as 15 paylines. To win, you need to line up 3-5 icons on a payline. The game has medium variance, so it’s not that outlandish; the RTP is a standard of 96.20%. Thanks to its lower-than-usual variance, the game has a shorter betting range that starts at $0.15 and goes up to $60 per spin. You can win up to 1,523x the stake.

Icons in the game include various mysterious objects such as cups, swords, scales, moons, books, potion bottles, and jewellery. In total, you can win from 5x to 66x for 5 OAK.

GAME FEATURES

Game features in Lady of Fortune Remastered are carbon copies of the features in the original slot. The only thing that has slightly changed is the payout, but all things considered, that’s not that big of a deal.

In the game, we have Wilds, Pick-a-Prize Bonuses, and the Gamble Feature.

Wilds

Wilds in Lady of Fortune Remastered appear as 4 types with different values: 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x. These icons can replace any type of icon on the grid except Scatters. Moreover, you’ll see them only on the central reel. Wilds carry Multiplier values, so any winning combo that has a Wild in it, will get boosted by the value of the Multiplier.

Pick a Prize

Scatters in this slot unlock the Pick-a-Prize bonus round. The round is a simple offer where you get three Tarot cards and are supposed to click on one to reveal a hidden prize beneath. To get the round, you need to land Scatters on reel 1, 3, and 5. You need a Scatter on each reel, as 3 Scatters unlock the feature.

The potential prizes are cash prizes, with the top prize being 1,500x the stake.

Gamble Round

Last but not least, we have the Gamble feature, or a game of Risk. It’s a popular feature in Endorphina slots, so if you are familiar with their games, you’ll know what this round is all about.

Namely, on every win in the base game, you will have an option to choose to double the winnings. Click on the Gamble round to start it. Once you start the round, you will be given a face down card and a chance to guess the colour of the card. If you do, you double the winnings, guess the suit and you boost it 4x.  You can do this up to 5 times, or until you reach 2,500 coins. The round ends if you miss, and this is when you forfeit everything. Please be careful with this feature.

Lady of Fortune Remastered is exactly what its name says: a remaster of Lady of Fortune. The original slot came out a decade before the remaster, so in a way, we get why they decided to update the game. On the other hand, it’s also a very classic slot, so was there really a need for a remodel of the slot?

Ask Play’n GO. For us, it’s simply a game that we get to revisit and play again because we honestly forgot the game existed in the first place. Still, fans will probably be thrilled that the Lady of Fortune is getting a well-deserved makeover. Little has changed so far, except perhaps the visuals that are now more polished and crispier. All other items in the game remain the same. The game’s potential prize is heavier as well – instead of 150x, you might win 1,500x – but that still does not change the fact that the maximum payout potential in the Remastered version is 1,523x the stake.
