Ra’s Reckoning combines several mechanics and features into one potent game. Here’s what you can enjoy in Ra’s Reckoning.
Mega Drop
When a winning cluster forms, all instances of the winning symbol are removed from the grid, not just winning icons.
This creates space for new symbols to cascade down from above. The cascade process continues automatically as long as new winning clusters form, potentially creating chain reactions of consecutive wins from a single spin.
Divine Frames
After a winning combination forms, the positions where winning symbols previously landed are highlighted with colored frames. These frames have three levels or tiers: bronze, silver, and gold.
Upgrading to the next tier happens during Mega Drop cascades. You need to form one win over the frame to get to the next tier, and continue doing so to get to the gold tier.
To get a payout on the Frames you will need a special trigger symbol called Ra’s Blessing. This icon can land on any regular spin or during Mega Drop cascades.
Bear in mind that only one Ra’s Blessing symbol appears per spin. When Ra’s Blessing lands after wins have been awarded, the Divine Frames reveal their contents based on tier level.
Clash and Jar Symbols
Divine Frames can sometimes reveal special symbols. Clash symbols and Jar symbols can appear in bronze, silver, or gold Divine Frames, adding multiplicative and collection mechanics to the feature.
Clash symbols multiply all coins and full Jar symbols on adjacent squares. Clash multipliers range from 2x to 10x, and only one Clash symbol can appear per spin, making them rare but powerful when they land.
Jar symbols collect the values of all coins and other Jars anywhere on the grid. After collecting all values, the frames that don’t contain the Jar symbol reactivate to reveal new symbols. This process continues until no new Jar lands, potentially creating substantial accumulated values through multiple collection rounds.
Red Eclipse Free Spins
Landing 3 scatters awards 8 free spins in this bonus mode. In Red Eclipse Free Spins, all Divine Frames become sticky between spins. That means that once a frame is created, it will remain on the grid until it is activated by a Ra’s Blessing symbol.
Retriggers are possible, and you will need to collect additional scatters to make it possible. Landing 2 scatters adds +2 free spins, with each additional scatter adding another +2 spins. The spin cap is at a maximum of 46 spins.

Our Experience Playing Ra’s Reckoning
Ra’s Reckoning’s best asset is the visual aspect, because the game does not look like anything in Play’n GO’s current game catalog. Play’n GO has created something genuinely different within the Egyptian theme, which is no small feat given how saturated this genre has become and how many of those games in the genre come exactly from Play’n GO.
On the gameplay side, the mechanics feel familiar if you’ve played certain other cluster pays slots. The highlighting of winning positions, loading them with coins via trigger symbols, and multiplying and collecting those coins with special symbols strongly resemble many popular games.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it just emphasizes how creative Play’n GO was with the game’s visual design rather than game features.
The 50,000x max win potential is genuinely impressive but ultimately is not easily achievable. We advise you to be extra careful when playing the game.
