GiG to Collaborate with SkyCity
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) is about to sing a long-term contract with SkyCity Entertainment Group (herein after SkyCity) that will see a new vertical of online casino shared between GiG and SkyCity’s Malta subsidiary.
Launching Turnkey Solutions Together
The duo will be releasing a series of products, encompassing the likes of the technical platform, front end development, CRM, gaming content, fully managed services, as well as compliance and marketing. The site of operation for GiG will be Malta, and all of the services will be offered to clients in New Zealand, where SkyCity’s headquarters are located. The full suite of new content ad solutions is expected to see the light of day in the third quarter (Q3) of 2019. New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs will be supervising the whole procedure.
Robin Reed, CEO at GiG, commented on the new deal and partner that GiG is thrilled to be collaborating with SkyCity and its Malta-based subsidiary as they “share the same high standards and ambitions for a safe, responsible and entertaining gaming experience for the end users.”
Impressive Geographical Expansion
Calling this a “landmark deal”, Reed declared that GiG will be happily entering an entirely new continent where they can “build on [their] ambition as the global partner for strong brands in iGaming”.
GiG’s first man asserted that they were particularly delighted to support SkyCity and welcome them into the virtual space. In addition, New Zealand is set to announce new regulations for online gambling, so we are staying tuned for the updates.
Graeme Stephens, CEO of SkyCity, said that Skycity is also looking forward to new business ventures with GiG and highlighted the goal of becoming the absolute leaders together. A cornerstone in their history, this contract will see SkyCity grow and diversify their earnings.
They will develop their “online presence to complement [their] existing land-based casinos in New Zealand”, which will enable them to provide an improved gaming proposition for consumers.
