Firstly, there are two special features in Gargantoonz slots that can randomly trigger on any spin. In every round, one type of low-paying symbol is selected for Fluctuation. If any symbols of this type win, 1 or 2 wilds are created in their place. Moreover, the Discharge feature can randomly create 4-8 Wilds on any spin with no wins.

If you manage to hit 20 or more winning symbols in a single spin (all cascades resulting from one bet count as a single spin), you trigger one of three Experiments. These can be:

• Supernova creates 3-5 wilds, which move around the board for every winning cluster. Once there are no more wins or cascades, these wilds move 8 positions in any direction and collect all of the symbols in their way.

The special Wilds in these Experiments and any symbols removed thanks to them can again re-fill the Experiment Charge. If it fills up to 40, one of the two remaining Experiments triggers. If you complete all three Experiments this way, the Gargantoon bonus round kicks off.

The Gargantoon bonus feature spreads 8 Wilds on the grid. If they win, they combine into 2×2 Wilds, which can then again combine into one big 3×3 Wild.

Gargantoonz is an unexpected but welcome addition to the Ractoonz family. Although perhaps not as mind-blowing as the original release, it still feels fresh and interesting. Especially if you like big flashy features, which trigger surprisingly often in this game.
