NetEnt has forged a content supply deal with Parx Casino ahead of the opening of the regulated online casino market in Pennsylvania.

NetEnt Continues US Expansion

The gaming software giant has continued its expansion across the United States by striking a deal with Parx Casino.

The company is bolstering its presence ahead of the introduction of regulated iGaming in Pennsylvania. The online gaming in the country was expected to be launched in late 2018 but was pushed back for the first quarter of 2019.

NetEnt Americas managing director Erik Nyman said that the supplier hopes the market will open up “sometime during Q2” the latest.

Under the terms of the agreement, a broad range of NetEnt’s slot games and table games will be available at Parx Online, operated by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment Inc, who also operate Parx Casino, a horse racing venue and the largest casino gaming complex in Pennsylvania. All games will be delivered via the GAN platform, which also enables free spins and the free spin widget.

“Parx is a household brand in the gambling community in Pennsylvania. I am very excited that we have secured this important agreement ahead of the market opening. I am certain that Parx players will enjoy our games and unique features and that our tools will help Parx grow their business within online casino”, Nyman added.

Other Deals

This is the third deal of this kind for NetEnt, with the supplier still in talks with a wide range of operators.

Just a month afterNetEnt applied for the online gaming license in Pennsylvania, they scooped a deal with casino giant Penn, with NetEnt’s games set to be available on Penn Interactive’s Hollywood Casino website. Back in October 2018, NetEnt partnered with Churchill Downs, best known for its horseracing betting services, to deliver its portfolio of online casino games to the operator in the regulated New Jersey market.

They have now confirmed that the deal includes the operator’s activities in Pennsylvania, the second biggest US state that is about to regulate online casinos. Pennsylvania is also the fifth largest state by population with 13 million inhabitants which, together with a land-based track record, promises to generate “relatively high gross game revenue per capita”.
