Microgaming Re-Launches Prima Poker Client
Multi-award winning online software and solutions supplier Microgaming has boosted its poker software offering by re-launching its Prima Poker Client on the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN).
The resounding-named poker client has been created in order to deliver a supreme poker experience to clients all over the world, and it features a streamlined interface to cater for easy navigation to cash, casino games and tournaments, as well as a blind cash game lobby and a simplified rewards system.
Prima was originally launched for Microgaming Poker Network in 2003. Later on, it was renamed MPN, in December 2012 in order to show a new approach to network management and operations.
A Quintessential Step
Alex Scott, Microgaming head of product in network games, has proudly and optimistically commented on the new venture saying that this is the grandest poker release and the one of the key importance. According to Scott, it represents “the culmination of a multi-year strategy to revitalise [their] products and [helps to] leapfrog the competition.”
Scott has gone on to add commentary on the expectations of the company regarding the re-launch. He seems to be thrilled about what the team has achieved with this solution and is looking forward to building new products together in the near future.
Increased Transparency
Isle of Man based iGaming behemoth has designed Prima with a firm focus on improving the user experience and so as to promote responsible gaming in a way that will make it more transparent to clients. Moreover, a player history tool will be featured and it will display overall profit and loss across all game types. Players will be enabled to filter any time period, and track and review their gameplay and make choices based on the detailed information.
Microgaming’s newly promoted chief commercial officer Jean-Luc Ferriere has also declared this “an exciting and pivotal time” for the firm. “The launch of Prima marks another move in our strategy to continue developing products centred around giving players the best poker experience with a more intuitive client, optimised for any device.”
