Mr Green Urges UK Affiliates to Stop Advertising
Online casino operator Mr Green has issued a request for all UK affiliates to pause all advertisements for the brand.
In the announcement, Mr Green casino highlighted compliance changes as the reason for the request. Mr Green, the property of William Hill Plc, urged its UK marketing publishers to remove all advertising property from their sites.
The Request
The changes in compliance prompted Mr Green to demand the removal of all its advertising property from sites of UK affiliates. That includes all casino and Live casino promotional material, such as text, banners, and pop-ups. Social media posts, links, and similar promoting material should also disappear from the sites.
However, affiliate marketing publishers in the UK can still promote Mr Green’s Sports section. In fact, Mr Green replaced all casino and live casino banners with sportsbook banners. The casino operator kindly asked its affiliates to check their sites for casino banners, in case they are still there. If they are, they are to be removed immediately.
Change in the Air
It is important to note that the official statement states that this is a call for a pause of promotional material. Mr Green added that it would inform all affiliate publishers when they can start promoting Mr Green casino material again.
