The corporate umbrella protecting the head of Mr Green online casino – MRG – continues its ride towards providing a safer online gaming environment by joining the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA).
The EGBA is a Brussels-based industry body that represents leading iGaming operators established, licensed and regulated within the UK.
EGBA closely collaborates with national authorities, EU authorities and other stakeholders towards a well-regulated and attractive iGaming offer for EU citizens. The EGBA represents more than 20 million EU customers and promotes player safety, sustainable regulation and responsible gambling.
Becoming a new member of the EGBA means that MRG will be audited on its compliance with the CEN Workshop Agreement on Responsible Remote Gambling Measures.
MRG has put a lot of effort into its “Green Gaming Programme” which makes sure all new players are asked to set betting limits. They even launched a predictive gaming tool back in 2017 which gives players an insight into their risk behaviour.
This partnership of two strong think-alike companies brings a strong level of responsibility and they will work together towards building attractive regulated markets that are “capable of channelling consumers and providing a high level of consumer protection.”
Per Norman, CEO of MRG, commented: “MRG shares EGBA’s view that the industry must work closely together to create a safe and reliable European digital environment for online gaming players.”
“Green Gaming has been a core of our strategy since the foundation of the Group and we are enthusiastic about contributing to the development of more Green online gaming services across Europe.”
