Playtech Upgrades Systems for OEG
FTSE-listed iGaming technology supplier Playtech has recently announced the newest state-of-art and biggest casino system upgrades with Olympic Entertainment (OEG), Eastern European gambling group.
The Isle of Man based gambling provider is set to deliver these upgrades in hopes of further improving the overall performance of the group wide systems.
What’s Behind the Curtain
The idea was to upgrade to IGS Neon solutions, so far proven to be the best of its kind. Playtech has been asked by Olympic Entertainment to bring a group wide synthesis of OEG’s casino management systems all across its Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) and European (Italy, Malta, and Slovakia) premises.
During this project, it will be required of Playtech’s Neon to connect more than 100 casinos in 5 countries, covering thereby about 3,500 electronic gaming machines with 150 gaming tables on average.
Playtech and Olympic Entertainment have worked closely for some time now, and they have collaborated on advancing Olympic Park Tallinn Casino (Estonia) by successfully integrating Neon systems for it.
Martin Sykes, managing director of Playtech IGS, has declared that they at Playtech pride themselves in having cooperated with Olympic Entertainment for such a long time, and on so many prosperous projects.
Sykes also added that they see Olympic Entertainment as “one of the world’s most successful, innovative and professional operators” and that they are honoured to say that the partnership will continue to exist. They are thrilled to report that they will in fact be long-term strategic partners.
Providing details on the forthcoming enterprise, Playtech IGS asserts that Olympic entertainment will obtain a HTML 5 application-based system. It is found to deliver its operations flexibly and monitor players throughout the assorted premises.
On the other hand, Oleg Jurtsenko, Chief Information Officer of OEG, has demonstrated that Olympic Entertainment is happy to “take full advantage of Neon by operating the system across all of [their] international operations.”
Jurtsenko additionally praised Playtech on its modern and innovative approach to projects.
