Rhode Island Lottery Teams Up with IGT & William Hill
In a latest industry update the International Game Technology (IGT) and their commercial partner William Hill U.S. announced they have been given a vote of confidence from the Rhode Island Lottery to provide the end-to-end sports betting service at two of the state’s establishments.

Rhode Island’s video lottery and table game venues – Twin River Casino and Tiverton Casino – will be the ones to incorporate IGT and William Hill services with sports betting operations expected to go officially live by mid-November.
Rhode Island Lottery director Gerald Aubin is very excited about a deal and expects that service provider and players in the state will benefit greatly from the deal.
“With the introduction of legalized sports betting, we will leverage world-class resources and technology from IGT and William Hill to provide the best-possible sports betting experience for the patrons who visit our casinos.”, Aubin said.
Rhode Island Lottery signed a five-year deal with IGT and William Hill, which can be further extended by two successive five-year terms by mutual consent.

Renato Ascoli, the CEO of IGT North America is sure that Rhode Island lottery will be uniquely positioned to offer a comprehensive market-ready solution aimed at maximizing sport betting revenues.
“We are pleased that Rhode Island is the first lottery to set up sports betting operations post-PASPA,”, he added.
William Hill U.S. CEO, Joe Asher, is equally ecstatic about this deal.
“IGT is a world-class gaming technology company and we could not be more happy to partner with them to provide a world-class sports betting solution for the state of Rhode Island,” he commented.
