Scientific Games Takes Over Sports Betting in Turkey
Las Vegas, Nevada based company Scientific Games (SG) has recently announced that it had won an exclusive 10-year sports betting IDDAA contract in Turkey. Its joint venture called Şans Girişim will assume the position of the leader in Europe’s largest state-sponsored sports betting market, and one of the top three in sales in the world.
The lead partner in the venture is Sans Digital, an affiliate of Demirören Holding, one of Turkey’s biggest companies with significant business interests in energy, real estate and media.
Long and Safety-Oriented Sports Betting History
Turkey will become the proud host of SG’s top class, all-in-one sports betting solution, and Turkish punters will benefit from a “competitive, successful large scale sportsbook”. Scientific Games has so far been supplying over 35 regulated markets worldwide and delivering responsible sports betting for years now.
The SG turnkey sports betting solution will be integrated across at least 5,300 retail points of sale in Turkey. Under the agreement, Scientific Games will cater to “the central system hardware and software, terminals, terminal software, maintenance, and risk management solution”.
