Right from the start, you are thrust into hell, which is the setting for the Book of Inferno. It’s useful to note that this is yet another Book of slot, but don’t let that fool you into thinking this is a weak classic slot. No, sir – Book of Inferno does come with 10 paylines and a 5×3 grid, but it has a fantastic payout reaching up to 5,846x the stake!

Volatility indeed is high, but we expected that. Moreover, Quickspin launched the game with three different RTP configurations. The highest you can get is 96.15%, and even that can go higher if you turn on the Bonus Buy functionality. Lower values for RTP include a 94% and 87% variants. And now, let’s talk about the visuals. We have to admit, we loved what Quickspin did with the game. It centres around Hell, and so there is bound to be fire, burnt earth, and malicious demons. The demons appear on the screen as premium symbols – the lord and mistress of hell, the huntress, and the commander – they pay between 75x and 500x the stake. Compared to these payouts, low-value icons represented by a collection of card royals pay next to nothing. Indeed, the low icons pay between 8x and 12x for a suit of 5. Furthermore, the game also includes Wilds and Scatters, and the Scatters pay the same premiums if you are lucky to get 5 across one payline.

Quickspin added three special boosters that are worth mentioning: the Marked Symbols, Free Spins, and Bonus Buy.

The Marked symbols are actually randomly selected icons that land on the grid. If you collect enough, they will expand to cover the entire reel.
