HOW TO PLAY Moon Princess Power of Love?

Moon Princess Power of Love is the fifth official Moon Princess online slot. The debut game came out in 2017, and since then, Play’n GO launched three other games – Christmas Kingdom, Moon Princess 100, and Moon Princess Trinity. The Power of Love is the fifth one, and it’s the first one celebrating love.

As usual, the theme is anime. The titular princess acts as main character and decorates the game both off and on the reels. In the game, she is choosing between two princes who are both vying for her attention. Hail and Blaze are both very handsome and powerful, but which one will win her over?

The game is a 5×5 grid with cluster pays, so you get wins by landing adjacent symbols either horizontally or vertically. When this happens, winning icons are removed and a new tumble is activated. What is interesting here is that the tumble also adds a Wild to the grid and activates win multipliers. Wilds pay between 0.50x and 10x if you get them into a win with 3-5 icons.

On each round, there’s a character beside the grid (Love, Hail, or Blaze) and they activate the random power-ups that are unique for each character. These boosters add a layer of fun to the game, and they also trigger more wins. To win, you need at least 3 icons, but that is more difficult than it sounds.

Moon Princess Power of Love has a standard RTP rate of 96.20% along with a high volatility rate. In our experience, wins were frequent but smaller. You can win up to 15,000x the game by playing this sequel. Game icons include a set of low-value tiles paying up to 1.50x and high-value characters paying 7.50x the stake. If you catch a combo of any 5 characters you will get 3x the bet.

GAME FEATURES

Game features include Wilds and Multipliers, Characters with special Powers, a Love Triangle, and Free Spins.

Wilds appear only when you have a winning combo that is removed from the grid. Instead of the winning icons, you get 1 Wild, but no new icons fall from above. Instead, the remaining icons tumble down and potentially create new winning combos. Multipliers are activated at the same time, offering a Win Multiplier that grows with each new tumble by 1x. Ultimately, the Win Multiplier can grow up to 100x but it resets for each new spin.

If you manage to clear the grid anytime except during Love Triangle, you get a 50x rewards.

You can also trigger a random Character Power on any given spin. Powers may apply but they are not guaranteeing a win! There are three 3 characters, to naturally, 3 different powers. Love, the princess, transforms instances of one icon into another, Blaze adds 2-4 icons of the same symbol type to the grid that already is present there, and Hail copies 1 randomly selected reel onto the next one (adjacent reel always).

Next, the Love Triangle has a meter in the right bottom corner which, once it’s full, unleashes a Love Triangle Free Spin. During this spin, all three characters’ powers will activate. If you clean the grid, you will unlock Free Spins.

Lastly, Free Spins come with character powers that activate randomly. You can also retrigger the feature if you fill the meter. There are also win multipliers.

Moon Princess is a very successful release for Play’n GO so we aren’t surprised the company is pushing for a new release. Also, there are four other games in the series, which means Moon Princess is going to become even more popular for Play’n GO. But is the Power of Love addition a good sequel?

All signs point to yes. Moon Princess Power of Love is a 5×5 grid slot with wins reaching up to 15,000x the stake. It’s also full of features, and the fact that it has both Free Spins and Characters with random powers is great. If you are into anime and like the fact that there are many new Valentine-themed slots, Moon Princess Power of Love might be a great game to try out.
