The Prestigious Event
Each year, the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards recognize and honour companies and individuals that are devoted to greater inclusion of women in the industry of gaming and its branches. This year, the 10th annual event recognized the significance and hard work that IGT’s team of experts poured into its diversification and empowerment of women.
Thanks to its close relationship with Women’s Inclusion Network, IGT Las Vegas managed to expand the presence and active participation of women in the sphere through its mission of empowering them via professional development, networking, and amazing mentorship opportunities. This effort was globally noted, and it earned the provider this prestigious award.
The Outstanding Project Initiative
Women’s Inclusion Network is one of several Employee Business Resource Groups that IGT formed so far. Established in 2008, during its first year of existence it managed to successfully reach many milestones.
From the creation of parking zones for expectant mothers better known as the Comfort Zone to launching Lean In circles within the company, the employee-managed group successfully introduced a row of events that strengthened and helped women across the entire community in Las Vegas.
