Microgaming Rolls Out Poker in Bulgaria
Microgaming has expanded its online poker network into Bulgaria with the addition of locally licensed operator National Lottery AD.
This major poker deal, signed through Prima Networks Limited, marks the first time Microgaming’s poker network has been made available in the Bulgarian market. It will offer a range of tournaments and cash games via the brand, supported by a number of promotional tools.
Microgaming Goes National in Bulgaria
National Lottery AD will launch Microgaming’s poker offering on its 7777.bg site, which already features a Kambi-powered sportsbook and live-dealer casino games from Evolution Gaming. Through this extensive deal, Bulgarian players will enjoy Microgaming’s improved poker software which is feature-rich and delivers popular, player-friendly tournaments and promotions.

According to Bulgarian Trade Association of Manufacturers and Operators in the Gaming Industry (BTAMOI), the Bulgarian online sector generated $64.9 million in the first three quarters of 2018 which is up 17% comparing to the same period in 2017. The online markets makes up approximately 10% of Bulgaria’s total gambling market.
The deal is in line with Microgaming’s strategic goal of expanding its presence in the key regulated markets.

This partnership deal follows the Roulette launch at SiGMA which took place in Malta last month.
Microgaming followed Yggdrasil and Realistic Games and invested heavily in the format and upped its roulette game. They described it as “the elegant new take on the classic game” which was developed exclusively by Switch Studios.
